Welcome to Northern Utah .NET Users Group!
Our group meets on the first Thursday of the month @ 6:30pm to discuss topics in programming.
It was suggested at the November meeting that it might be useful to post a list of the requested meeting topics here. That way, visitors could peruse the list and consider any topics they wish to learn and present or already know and could present. The list is presented below, ordered from most popular to least popular, top to bottom then left to right. Some of these topics are outdated so we may have a new vote on topics at a future meeting. Be sure to attend so you can have your say!

Topic: Visual Studio 2013 Launch Event
Presenter: Nathan Zaugg
Time: 6:30pm Birds of a Feather; Session starts at 7:00pm
About the topic
Visual Studio 2013 has launched! We will tackle the new, the cool and the previously unknown... with a predilection toward Windows 8.1.
A note about Raspberry Pi
Our Raspberry Pi presentation was very popular. We had a great turnout with some new faces. It ran long and we only got to show about half the demos. We have had numerous requests to publish the slides. The slides have quite a few animations in them and are done in Google Drive, so they don't very well convert to PowerPoint. Instead of posting them here as PowerPoint slides, we've made them public and published the links in the resources page on this site (links are in the left margin).
We also wanted to show you the rest of the demo projects, so we have decided to create a NUNUG YouTube channel. We will post the rest of the Scary Gadgets demos there soon, maybe the slides with animations for those without Google Drive and maybe a few completed props if time permits.IF ANYONE HAS MADE A SCARY GADGET (or other physical IO project) WITH A RASPBERRY PI
, we would love to post a video of it on our YouTube channel. Even if you don't get it done by Halloween (it happens to us all), we won't tell. Just let us know. We could all have a lot of fun with this.
